Ses Illetes
Flawless white sand, turquoise water and the most sought-after anchorage in the Balearics. The fine sand bottom gives exceptional holding, so we anchor comfortably a few metres off the shoreline and take you ashore by tender. It gets busy in July and August, so we leave early to secure a prime spot — always clear of the ferry channel.

Cala Saona
Red ochre cliffs dropping into crystal-clear water on the west coast of Formentera. It is our favourite alternative when the easterly wind makes the north of the island uncomfortable: here the sea stays flat. The contrast between the ochre rock and the blue water makes it one of the most photographed coves at sunset.

Espalmador Island
An almost untouched island inside the Ses Salines Natural Park, with regulated public access. Free anchoring is forbidden over the posidonia meadows, so we use the designated mooring field: besides protecting the seabed, it guarantees an afternoon of complete calm with no boats manoeuvring around you. No beach bars, no music, nothing at all.

Platja des Jondal
The epicentre of Ibiza daytime scene. We anchor off beach clubs such as Blue Marlin and take you ashore by tender for lunch at the water edge. The bottom mixes sand and pebbles, so the skipper always double-checks the anchor is properly set before leaving the boat. Around midday boat traffic creates some swell: if you want flat water, come in the morning.

Cala d'Hort
The most spectacular anchorage in Ibiza, right in front of the Es Vedrà and Es Vedranell islets. The bottom is mixed sand and rock and it is quite exposed to the south-west, so the skipper monitors the forecast constantly and picks the exact spot on the day. In return, the sight of Es Vedrà rising out of the sea a few metres away is unmatched anywhere in the Mediterranean.

Cala Comte
Famous for its sunsets and for water so clear it feels Caribbean. Much of the bay is shallow, which is exactly what creates that luminous turquoise and makes it ideal for boats of moderate draft. It is the best cove in Ibiza for paddleboarding and snorkelling: you can see the bottom from the deck.

Caló d'Es Mort
A tiny, picturesque corner on the Migjorn coast, framed by rock and old fishermen huts. Swinging room is limited, so it is an anchorage reserved for tenders and small to mid-size boats in flat conditions. That is exactly why it is always quiet: it is the secret we show returning guests.

Cala Bassa
A bay so sheltered it works as a natural harbour on southerly wind days. Calm water, sandy bottom and the Cala Bassa Beach Club right on the beach: it is the most comfortable and reassuring option for family charters and first-time sailors. If you are travelling with children, this is the cove.

Cala Salada
North of San Antonio, surrounded by dense pine forest running down to the water. This is the greenest, wildest Ibiza, with a green-toned water quite unlike the south. An ideal anchorage in easterly or southerly winds, with flat water and far fewer boats than the west coast coves.

Cala Tarida
A wide bay with small islets inside it that add character to the landscape. Its large sandy area lets us anchor with plenty of room even on the busiest days, which makes it the perfect plan B when Comte or Bassa are full. Easy shore access and a good choice of restaurants.
